BY TRAIN

The Congress venue is situated 400 mt far from Pescia train station (see map below). Pescia is located on the train line “Firenze-Lucca-Viareggio-Pisa”, about 50 Km far from Florence and about 50 km far from Pisa.

BY AIRPLANE (International Pisa Airport “G. Galilei”)

From Pisa airport it is possible to reach the Congress Venue:

• by train: there are several trains every day from “Pisa Aeroporto” to “Pisa Centrale” train station (it takes about 5 minutes). From there you have to take the train to Lucca and then from Lucca to Pescia. The trip from “Pisa Centrale” to Pescia takes about 1:30 hours.
• by bus: bus company L.A. F.lli Lazzi S.p.A. Bus stop (on request) at “Pisa Aeroporto” just in front of the airport, direction “Lucca”. Once arrived in Lucca, take the bus to Pescia. Departures from “Pisa Aeroporto” are about every hour, except on Sunday when departures are every two hours. It takes about 50 minutes from “Pisa Aeroporto” to Lucca and about 35 minutes from Lucca to Pescia.
• by taxi: it takes about 60 minutes from “Pisa Aeroporto” to Pescia; approx. price: € 90,00.
• by private shuttle: on August 30th and September 1st , a special private shuttle will be available at the airport to passengers travelling to the Symposium. For this reason it will be necessary to book in advance. The price of each journey will depend on the number of passengers. Detailed information will be available later.

BY AIRPLANE (International Florence Airport “A. Vespucci”)

From Florence airport it is possible to reach the Congress Venue:

• by train: from the airport it is necessary to take a shuttle bus to “Firenze SMN” train station. From “Firenze SMN” to Pescia there are several direct trains every day on the line “Firenze-Lucca-Viareggio”. It takes about 30 minutes from Florence airport to “Firenze SMN” and about 1:10 hour from “Firenze SMN” to Pescia.
• by bus: bus company: L.A. F.lli Lazzi S.p.A. Bus stop (on request) at “Firenze Aeroporto” just in front of the airport, direction “Montecatini Terme”. Once arrived in Montecatini, take the bus to Pescia. Departures from “Firenze Aeroporto” are about every hour, except on Sunday, when departures are every two hours. It takes about 45 minutes from Florence to Montecatini and about 20 minutes from Montecatini to Pescia.
• by taxi: it takes about 60 minutes from “Firenze Aeroporto” to Pescia; approx. price: € 120/130.
• by private shuttle: on August 30th and September 1st , a special private shuttle will be available at the airport to passengers travelling to the Symposium. For this reason it will be necessary to book in advance. The price of each journey will depend on the number of passengers. Detailed information will be available later.

BY CAR

The Congress Venue is easily reachable by car along the motorway A11 “Firenze-Pisa” (also known as "Firenze-Mare"), exit “Chiesina Uzzanese”, then follow direction to Pescia (approx. distance: 9 km).
